Fine real ales at the bar

The bar is where your journey begins. When you first enter the Golden Boar you will be welcomed at the beautiful hand built bar by one of our hospitable staff. You will instantly be attracted to the bar's charisma and charm that is created by the surrounding timber frames and open fire places as well the many friendly and intriguing locals who are sure to be supporting it!

It is the ideal place to meet and socialise with friends as well as to relax before and after your meal.

At the bar we offer a wide range of drinks from lager to pink champagne. There are four traditional hand pumps serving an excellent selection of the finest real ales which are kept to the highest standard whilst we also have a fantastic range of wines and champagne from both the new and old world.

If you are are in the mood to party allow us to get things started by making you one of our fabulous cocktails that we have on offer.
A large selection of malt whiskies, port, brandy and liqueurs are also stocked and are the ideal way to finish your perfect evening back where you started at the bar.

Should you choose to do so you can also remain in the cosy bar area and eat from our appetising range of dishes available from the bar menu.
