Bespoke Catering and Private Functions


At the Golden Boar our aim is to offer you an outstanding experience in dining and service.

We are able to accommodate any private functions or events, such as business meetings or weddings and we are more than happy to tailor these to your specific requirements.

If you do not wish to choose from our fantastic customary menus, we can provide you with an excellent range of alternatives to make your event personal.

From an intimate 3-course meal for a small private party to a buffet for a large party we are more than willing to make your occasion extra special.
We are also able to cater for any events you may have away from the restaurant e.g. buffets / platters for meetings or parties. So when you are next planning a special occassion contact us to see what we can do for you.



Our Head Chef, Sergio Neale spent 10 years as a sous chef in the Axis restaurant at the 5 Star One Aldwych Hotel in the West End of London.

The menus consist of modern European food which is all freshly prepared by the brigade of Chefs using local and seasonal ingredients.

Sergio and his team have created a number of menus to reflect their passion for outstanding, fresh and tasty cuisine. Every effort has been made to ensure that the menus are harmonized to produce a wonderful dining experience for you.

However, we understand that all events are bespoke and should you so wish we can develop a menu to suit your specific requirements. If you would like to discuss your individual requirements we would be more than happy to arrange a meeting with Sergio our Head Chef and Lukas, our manager.

We can also offer a wider selection of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages to suit your needs, for example Champagne. These will be priced according to your specific requirements.

Tea & Coffee

A choice of tea and/or coffee is available to finish off your meal.

Tea and coffee are served in tea pots and cafeterias with the option of milk and sugar and are priced at
£1.90 per person

We also offer a full range of specialist teas and coffee which can be ordered and are priced according to our usual tariff.

Finish off your meal in style with a luxurious cheese board and a bottle of port from our fantastic range.

The Golden Boar can produce you a wonderful cake to help celebrate your event. Prices are based on a basic design but if you require something more specific we will be happy to oblige.
